If Clean Tube tones are all you require the Sonique range may suit you down to the ground. Most Players have a different type of Clean tone in mind and that is where the GE's excel. If you want just dead clean it can be dialed in with the Sonique. If its a jangly slightly overdriven funky Clean tone you want, that also can be dialed in. Or it can be a more aggressive Bluesy clean if you desire. Its all in there. Both channels also have a Bright switch as well The fact is that if you only want clean tones, you can set two channels of it. Just set each of them the way it suits your playing style, then you also have a Solo Boost if required on both Channels. With many Amps on the market your'e stuck with the one clean channel with no versatility or switching It surprises most players how good the GE cleans really are |
