TESTIMONIALS

For anyone out there looking for a great amplifier do yourself a favour and try out a George Evans amp!!!!! I had 2 Bad cat amps and actually sold one of my Bad cats and replaced it with a George Evans 1 x 12inch  50 watt Combo. The amp covers tones from sparkly clean to slightly broken, right through to tight crunchy overdrive and heavy high gain tones. Ive tried so many amps both new and second hand through out Melbournes retail stores and there is nothing as flexible as this amp in my opinion. Check them out!!!!!!!

Just recently looked at various Laney, Orange, Marshall, and Boogies, and up into the Cornford and other gear, Ive ordered a George Evans. - Stu

I was blown away by those amps at the recent Melbourne Ampfest! If only I had some spare cash ..... gronk

You dont want an amp? THEN DONT GO SEE THESE MOTHERS! We were so totally blown away - I mean, really flabbergasted by these amps - we ordered one (number 007) on the spot. The amplifier is staggering. It has so much going on, it is so meticulously designed and hand assembled, and it is just beautiful - even switched off. It is even better switched on becaue it has a bevy oftones and tweaks that take you where you want to go, and then some. I cant speak more highly of the product or the producers. Anyway, I guess thats a recommendation. You will never regret owning one of these amplifiers.
Cheers

If Australians can design and build sensational products that compete with the best from America and Europe, AND COST LESS, then I am happy to support them and to say they are great products. Dont mean to sound like an ad, just telling it the way we found it. Also feel the same about our Cole Clark FL1AC.Gotta rock  -  Philip Wright

The sound is very three dimensional, and it moves an awful lot of air for a 1x12- I keep looking for the quad box in there. My hotrodded 808 type overdrive turns either channel into an array of blistering lead sounds, but without the nasty squealing and carrying on.

Good one guys- I am a happy customer - Stu

This amp is phenomenal, so versatile, so responsive, so warm. Tim was telling me he has spent about 10 years making this amp and he has not skimped on anything and it really shows  -  Simon

Clearly I liked em a lot, I dug the clean chimeyness that I would expect with an EL84 amp (from the 50 watters).
Theyre not cheap - but nothing that good ever would be. I dunno if they completely stomp the opposition (they all have their place), but these are seriously right up there with the best of em.

I hope the wider community get an earful of those amps..... theyre that good... Pulgar

f#*k...!!!! (pause) .....OH F@*K.........!!!! Then shaking his head..

That is an AWESOME AMP... Its got that nice natural Midrange bark ..!! Peter

That Amp is just AMAZING!  Channel switching, Gain switches the works!  AND IT ROCKS!
I cant believe why no one else has done it...!
-Johnny Gas

Man, you gotta be so proud of those Amps
Theyre AWESOME… Scott P

Text Msg to Phil... (late at night...)
Phil, the Amp is BRILLIANT! If my neighbours werent home Iwould be thrashing away on it right now...!  -  Chris B

Id buy one of those.... I would say it sounds like a Great (vintage) Vox or Matchless Amp...
Hmm…sounds like there is something missing in my Amp..
Wish I was recording the Album here in Australia, I would borrow one to record with...
-Quotes from VERY VERY high profile Customer...

"What can you say about a piece of marvelous musical machinery as sweet as the GE 30A ? It's sonically spectacular and inspirational to play, as many others have testified to. But what amazed me just as much as the sound was the enormous passion of the guys making this beast. They go way above and beyond the call in the search for tone and in helping you achieve yours. I've never experienced such incredible customer service in my life. Keep up the passion "
